Recommendations About Labour Rights Protection and Labour Trafficking

In this article, the authors recommend policies to ameliorate labour rights protection and trigger trafficking responses.
Regarding the first part:
a) Labour Inspectorates should tactfully and vigilantly acknowledge and audit complaints from domestic workers since in-house spot-checks are impracticable
b) The existing regulatory framework on domestic work should be revisited
c) Financial incentives should be rendered to employers who advocate and adhere to the legal regulations regarding the insurance of domestic workers and their formally-based recruitment
With regard to the latter part:
a) The Greek government should raise the awareness of labour exploitation through educational campaigns
b) The protection measures of victims of labour trafficking should be strengthened
c) Programs to train officials to build capacities for identifying characteristics of victims of the informal labour market should commence
