Irish Homecare – QQI Level 5 Major Aware Healthcare Supports + further training
Irish Homecare, an agency that supplies home care workers in Ireland, offers the QQI Level 5 Healthcare Supports course to new carers that sign up with the agency. Carers can pay back the course fee in instalments once employment has been secured.
Irish Homecare also require their carers to undertake 2 days of induction training prior to starting work, covering topics such as manual handling, personal care, health and safety, abuse awareness and prevention. It also provides further training once employment has been secured, in topics such as illness and disabilities, promoting independence, equality and diversity, communication training and mental health awareness
