Recommendations for the Care Sector of India
The conditions of the care sector are miserable in India, as the government does not apply policies to promote it and the field is neglected. This paper recommends some policies to increase the support of caregivers. Concisely, the government should recognize unpaid carers in policy initiatives, provide direct financial support or increase the funding to support such initiatives, and revise the current policies, so they are in favor of the caregivers.
