Empowering Informal Caregivers

It is known that the vast majority of caregivers are informal workers. The population of individuals in need of care consists of vulnerable individuals such as minors, elderly, disabled, and chronic disease sufferers. Caregivers may lack training, education and sometimes may be socially excluded due to their immigration status. “CareEr” is an initiative of IASIS NGO and its partners under Erasmus+ funding, that aims to support caregivers by training them and providing them with materials, tools, and best practices, in order to improve the quality of their services, as the ultimate goal of the project is to create incentives, and foster the informal worker, to become formally trained.
