Training for a Better Integration of Migrants

This is a training curriculum to provide integration to society and private sectors for migrants. This educative programme aims to decrease the gap between European countries for adult learners. Therefore, within the scope of the project “Learning of Local Bodies to Integrate Immigrants – LL2II”, the training curriculum has been developed to improve the knowledge and skills needed to provide integration to society and economic/social sectors.
The target groups of the training program:
• Establishments, public officials, local authority staff working with migrants
• NGOs
• Administrators, trainers and consultants serving migrants
• Volunteers working for migrants
• Vocational Teaching and Education Sector (MEÖ)
Within the curriculum, there are teaching and learning modules as noted below:
• Flow of migration – characteristics and progress
• The context of migration
• Intercultural competences
• Individual status analysis and problem solving
• Methodologies for migrant integration
